Recently we had the pleasure of making another visit to Children’s Fund in San Bernardino, one of our most valued organizations we love working with, to see what’s new at their Children’s Assessment Center. Their wonderful staff showed our board member around and informed them how our recent donation would provide the CAC with much needed resources for their one of a kind facility.

“The generous donation made by the John P. Previti Memorial Foundation will support our Children’s Assessment Center. This model program provides an important service to abused children and is the only one of its kind in San Bernardino county. Thanks to the generosity of the John P. Previti Memorial Foundation, children who have endured physical and sexual abuse will be assessed and well cared for in a child-friendly place where their healing can begin.  The Children’s Assessment Center was established in 1994 to reduce the trauma of child abuse victims in San Bernardino County.  This past year the Center treated 1,800 abused children. The Assessment Center provides a one-stop facility where children, who have experienced abuse, receive medical examinations by specially trained Forensic Pediatricians and only have to share their story one time to all appropriate personnel who are there to support the child. It is through community partnerships that together we can provide a safe and brighter future for the children of San Bernardino County.” – Ana Martinez, Marketing Assistant
